Turn a collection of findings into a clinical decision.
Knowing the topic and choosing the best answer are different challenges. A Step 2 CK session can focus on how you organize the history, examination findings, and laboratory information before deciding what the question is asking.
We work through the connections that support a diagnosis or a next step, then compare alternatives. The purpose is to make your reasoning explicit: which clue matters, what changes the decision, and why does another answer fit less well?
What we can work on together
Organize the presentation
Bring a clinical topic or question type you want to work on. Separate the central problem from details that do not change the decision.
Explain the decision
Connect the presentation to the underlying mechanism and the clinical reasoning. Work through the difference between identifying a condition and deciding what follows.
Compare the alternatives
Discuss why the options differ and how a changed finding could change the answer. Use those distinctions to identify what needs further review.
Plan your first session
Bring a topic or question set you find difficult. Dr. Batista develops the explanation live on a virtual whiteboard, and you can ask questions throughout. Every session is taught by Dr. Batista personally.
A single 90-minute session is currently $135 USD. Packages are also available. See the current prices and package details, or check availability before paying.
You can watch a short class sample and hear existing student testimonials to see the teaching and learn about individual experiences. Tutoring is personalized; it does not guarantee a score or exam outcome.
Questions about Step 2 CK tutoring
Can we work on question technique?
Yes. Sessions can examine how you interpret a stem, identify useful clues, compare options, and explain why an answer fits.
Can we revisit basic science?
Yes. When a mechanism is unclear, we can rebuild that foundation and connect it to the clinical picture.
How do I choose what to cover first?
Tell Dr. Batista which topics or question types are difficult and when you plan to take the exam. You can discuss a useful starting point before choosing a package.
